Lochside Cottage
Sleeps 4. All Calor Gas. Not suitable for young children or babies
The Lochside Cottage is totally different from all the other houses and has a particular appeal to those who really want to "get away from it all" and escape the pressures of modern living. It is stone built over a boathouse, standing alone on the north shore of Coldingham Loch. Access is either by car over a grass track, by rowing boat across the loch or by footpath around the loch shore.
It consists of Entrance Porch, Lounge with french windows opening onto a balcony overlooking the loch; Kitchenette with sink unit, Calor gas cooker, water heater and fridge; Bathroom with bath, w.h.b. and w.c.; Double Bedroom, Bunk Bedroom with two full-length bunks (2' 6" wide).
There is no electricity and the sole source of power is Calor gas. There is Calor gas lighting throughout and a Calor gas fire in the Lounge. The water for both the bathroom and kitchenette is heated by the water heater in the kitchenette. All beds are equipped with continental quilts and covers.
