It is situated in a quiet, peaceful setting bounded by the spectacular cliffs and coastline near St Abbs Head. The estate lies at the end of a single track, no-through road two miles from Coldingham Village where the amenities include shops, post office, country inns, rural bus service and a sandy beach.
With its loch, pleasant wooded policies, paddocks and grassland, Westloch provides an ideal centre for naturalists, walkers and for those who want simply to relax and enjoy unspoilt country surroundings. There are also several prehistoric hill forts and settlements in the vicinity which are of archealogical interest.
The owners live in Westloch House in the centre of the estate and offer visitors their personal attention. The holiday cottages and lodges are individually situated and their number has been deliberately restricted to ensure an exclusive environment. Westloch offers an extended holiday season and is ideal for early spring and late autumn.
